Dealer Specialties Integrates Kelley Blue Book Values into MarketControl Analytics Solution

By John Lahtinen, Community Development Editor, TMCnet

Dealer Specialties, providing inventory management solutions and services to automotive dealers nationwide, has announced the integration of Kelley Blue Book (KBB) Values into the appraisal tool of MarketControl Analytics, which now includes KBB Trade-In, Wholesale Lending and Suggested Retail Values, each updated on a weekly basis. KBB is one of the most trusted resources in the industry.

“Partnering with Kelley Blue Book is a key integration for MarketControl Analytics,” said Glen Garvin, group general manager of Dealer Specialties, a division of Dominion Dealer Solutions, in a release. “Including Kelley Blue Book Values in our appraisal tool helps dealers maintain a competitive edge and validate values from one web-based location.”

MarketControl Analytics, the industry's first real-time, market-based pricing and stocking solution, helps dealers make better inventory decisions to increase inventory turn rates and maximize profitability, according to the company. With the appraisal tool, dealers can confidently boost profits before acquiring inventory. Inclusion of seamlessly integrated third-party sources, like Kelley Blue Book, helps dealers ensure a quick and profitable sale.

“With easy access to Kelley Blue Book Values, dealers are equipped to make the best buying and selling decisions for their business while taking into account current market conditions,” said Damon Johnson, vice president of business development for Kelley Blue Book. “Relied upon by both consumers and the industry, Kelley Blue Book offers trusted information supported by the company's 85 years of experience.”

Dominion Dealer Solutions products include Autobase customer reputation and relationship management services, Dealerskins websites, Dealer Specialties' inventory management, Cross Sell marketplace analytics, as well as specialized data management tools from Data Cube and DataOne Software.

In April, Dealer Specialties was named recipient of the Gold Award in the Online Inventory Marketing Tools category of the Auto Dealer Monthly 2011 Dealers’ Choice Awards - the first year the nation’s dealers have recognized Dealer Specialties’ vehicle merchandising solutions.

“We are sincerely grateful that customers have recognized our robust and integrated solutions,” said Glen Garvin, group general manager for Dominion Dealer Solutions. “Over the years, we have truly valued insight and opinions from our dealers. Our goal is to continue to invest in useful, technologically-advanced inventory solutions.”

In related news, auto dealer CRM provider Dealer Socket recently announced it has been named to the fifth annual Inc. 500|5000 by Inc. magazine for the fourth consecutive year. Inc.500|5000 is an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.
