Advanced embedded solutions provider RadiSys Corporation will participate in the Silicon Forest Technology & Financial Forum at the end of August.
The event – scheduled for August 25 and August 26 – is geared for institutional investors, research analysts, buy-side analysts, sell-side analysts, key portfolio managers, and venture capitalists and will take them inside five public and four private Oregon technology companies.
This event provides an opportunity for the financial community to experience Oregon public and private companies, meet their management teams, and take company tours.
Scott Grout, RadiSys (News - Alert) president and CEO, as well as other members of the management team, will present an overview of the company's strategy, which includes highlighting its ATCA platforms.
In recent years, RadiSys has been changing the way managed ATCA platforms are delivered, especially given the emergence of commercial off the shelf hardware platforms, Carrier Grade Linux and management middleware which has had a significant impact on the market.
Over the past several years, telecom equipment vendors and systems integrators have turned to products made using ATCA. The technology is the successor to CompactPCI (News - Alert) form factor, and is used for the creation of communications system components that can be reused for a variety of applications.
In fact, last year, a study from research firm IDC (News - Alert) noted that Network Equipment Provider megamergers would continue to drive growth for ATCA.
In addition, attendees will also be able to see product demonstrations of the company's latest new offerings and will have time to meet with the management team.
The presentation portion of the event will also be simultaneously webcast on the RadiSys investor relations Web site on August 25, 2009 at 11:15 a.m. PT at http://investor.radisys.com/
