RadiSys, provider of innovative hardware and software platforms for next generation IP-based wireless, wireline and video networks and ATCA solutions, has a lot to be proud of looking when back on its accomplishments in 2010.
RadiSys (News - Alert) demonstrated its latest solutions for next-generation networks at Mobile World Congress, on February 15-18 in Barcelona, Spain. The company was joined by Centile (News - Alert), Enea and GoAhead Software, key members of its RadiSys Alliance Partner Program at the trade event.
In the same month,Technology Marketing Corporation “TMC (News - Alert)” named RadiSys’ ATCA 4.0 platform winner of the 2009 Product of the Year Award, selected by INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine.
The company also participated in the PICMG P.R.C. Annual Conference and China Industrial Development Forum on May 20, 2010, in Shanghai, China. Andy Tan, RadiSys senior field application engineer, presented on deployment strategies for next-generation ATCA platforms.
In July, RadiSys’ Promentum ATCA 4.0 platform received the NGN 2010 Leadership Award from TMC's NGN Magazine.
In October, the company announced the RadiSys LTE SEG, a security gateway targeted for Long Term Evolution “LTE (News - Alert)” deployments. The LTE SEG is a purpose-built product set up specifically for LTE deployments. It’s the first security gateway based on the 3GPP network domain security standards, which require very high performance IP security tunneling and firewalls.
More recently, RadiSys was recognized last month for this innovation with the ATCA Summit Best-of-Show Award for Best Unique Customer Application for the LTE SEG.
