The upcoming RSA (News - Alert) Conference 2012 will serve as an important technology conference that will display some new innovations from appliance deployment provider NEI (News - Alert). The company is no stranger to this not-to-miss event, as last year it exhibited the latest and greatest in appliance deployment trends including virtual appliances. As organizations are looking for ways to reduce costs while establishing a more open IT environment, new data and platform protection technologies are key.
At the conference, which is taking place from February 27- March 2, the company will unveil its innovative Sandy Bridge-based appliance deployment solution, designed to ensure security in on-premise and virtual appliance solutions. The appliance deployment provider will also be demonstrating how its health monitoring solutions and update management solutions work as integral parts of its application management portfolio.
NEI provides server-based application platforms and lifecycle support services for software developers and OEMs across the globe. The company has the ability to provide physical, virtual and cloud-ready solutions.
Recently, TMCnet reported that NEI had released its first fiscal quarter for the period ended December 31, 2011. The appliance deployment provider now estimates net revenues in the range of $68 million to $70 million, higher than the original guidance of $58 million to $63 million provided on November 10, 2011.
In addition, net income on a GAAP basis is expected to be in the range of $1.3 million to $1.6 million, compared to prior guidance of GAAP net income of $500,000 to $1.0 million.
Multiple NEI customers also exceeded the volume estimates the company had projected for the December quarter, which contributed to higher revenues and the improved outlook.
