NEI is continuing its three-part Webinar series, “ATCA vs. Carrier Grade Rack Mount Servers – Making the Right Choice,” with the final session coming in October.
The series offers carriers, service provider and telecom equipment manufacturers insight into choosing the right applications deployment solutions.
The third session, scheduled for Oct. 14, will address topics such as cost/performance curves and networking processing. The second session, held Sept. 24, discussed the same topics.
The first session was held Sept. 2 and featured Jeff Hudgins, vice president of marketing at NEI. Hudgens opened the series with a features and benefits analysis of both ATCA and Carrier Grade Rock Mount Server architectures.
In today’s market, both ATCA and Carrier Grade Rack Mount Servers are viable applications solutions for carriers, service providers and telecom equipment manufacturers, yet crafting a deployment strategy with either option can be a complex decision.
The Webinar series discusses how the move to open-standards platforms for high performance applications has affected application deployment in the telecommunications space and offers participants insight into choosing the right application deployment strategy.
