NEI and Dell Hosting a Webinar to Explore Appliance Deployment Challenges

By Rajani Baburajan, TMCnet Contributor

NEI (News - Alert), a provider of appliance deployment solutions, and Dell, a provider of technology solutions, services and support, are jointly sponsoring a webinar that addresses the challenges associated with appliance deployment in enterprises.

The webinar will explore how Trustwave, a provider of on-demand and subscription-based information security and PCI DSS compliance management solutions to businesses, has successfully leveraged NEI’s appliance deployment technologies to rapidly increase development time and shorten time to market.

The webinar on, “Solving Application Deployment Challenges to Grow Profits” will explore different ways to implement technologies that save time, money and other resources to provide a competitive advantage within the telecom and security markets, a press release revealed.

The event slated to take place on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. EDT/11:00 a.m. PDT will be moderated by Glenn O’Donnell, senior analyst at Forrester (News - Alert) Research. Other key speakers scheduled to take part in the event include NEI’s Vice President of Marketing Jeff Hudgins; Charlie McPhail, sales engineer at Dell OEM (News - Alert) Solutions; and Vice President of Field Services at Trustwave, Tom Wallace.

Trustwave will explain at the event how it has leveraged NEI’s standard-based appliance deployment solution to enhance performance levels. The webinar will also look at the ways in which the appliance deployment technologies can deliver performance, processing power, reliability, and system management for OEMs and ISVs seeking to streamline deployment solutions.

A release stated that the webinar will also evaluate an integrated hardware and software approach that can create a true appliance deployment solution that consists of health management technologies and an effective update management strategy for automating application updates, OS patches, application upgrades, and maintenance of field-deployed units.
