Appliance Deployment Provider NEI Will Showcase Strategies for Product Lifecycle Management at Demand Planning and Forecasting Best Practices Conference

NEI (News - Alert), a provider of server-based appliance deployment platforms and lifecycle support services for software developers and OEMs throughout the world, will have two representatives from the company, including the Director of Product Management Mike Thibodeaux and SCM expert in Demand and Supply Management Ferose Lambay, jointly present a session titled “Managing Product Life Cycles with S&OP: Gaining Market Share Before the Competition” at the Institute of Business Forecasting and Planning’s (IBF) event, Demand Planning and Forecasting: Best Practices Conference with Demand Management Forum, in Dallas, Tex., from May 4-6.
Ferose Lambay and Mike Thibodeaux will present in session 3 on Thursday, May 5 from 3:15-4:15pm.
The Demand Planning and Forecasting event will discuss relevant industry case studies and give advice regarding how to better manage and plan supply chain operations. These operations, when managed correctly, can help drive productivity and bring a higher level of efficiency. Other companies besides NEI that will be present at his event include Bosch, Boeing (News - Alert), Bacardi USA, Fidelity Investments, Radioshack, SAS (News - Alert), Yankee Candle Group, and many more.
This informative lecture will outline a new business process that can be implemented for pre-launch preparations, operational planning, and product lifecycle management. Thibodeaux and Lambay will focus heavily on applying lean thinking in order to dramatically enhance the supply chain and reduce time-to-market.
Businesses will see many advantages of this process such as increased turnover and cycle time reduction, as well as improvements in manufacturing asset efficiency, cash flow management, and on-time delivery, according to a press release.
