By Jamie Epstein, TMCnet Web Editor

NEI, a provider of server-based application platforms and lifecycle support services for software developers and OEMs worldwide, announced today that Jeff Hudgins (News - Alert), vice president of marketing, at NEI, will be presenting at Data Center World 2011. Due to the company’s expertise and comprehensive suite of solution design, system integration, application management, global logistics, support and maintenance services, it has the ability to redefine appliance deployment solutions, in order to provide customers with a sustainable competitive advantage.

Data Center World is the leading educational conference for data center professionals. Thousands of data center professionals from industry, government and academic institutions all over the world attend Data Center World every fall and spring to share, talk and learn about the latest data center trends, technologies and best practices, as well as products and services offered by some of the world's leading data center technology and service providers.

Hudgins will present a seminar entitled “Achieving Greater Data Center Efficiencies with DC-Powered Server Technologies” at the Mirage Hotel & Convention Center, from 4:30-5:30 p.m., on March 30.

The session will look at new technologies that have been designed to bring an increased amount of computer power to the data center, and their effect on data center footprints, management, reliability and ROI.

In the seminar, Hudgins will speak about how DC-powered servers can deliver enhanced computer power by erasing power conversion steps within the IT infrastructure and implementing end-to-end DC data processing, as well as the multiple advantages of virtual appliances in reducing power, through efficient management and provision.
