Huawei (News - Alert), a provider of next-generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, announced that it has entered into an Alliance with PerSay (News - Alert) Ltd., a provider of advanced biometric speaker verification products.

Huawei's IP contact center platform lends this partnership an edge. This new alliance allows PerSay to deliver on the growing demands for the Voice Biometrics technology across worldwide business enterprises. The alliance allows Huawei to provide a pre-integrated Voice Biometrics enabled IP Contact Center across enterprises globally.

PerSay's technology works with any Contact Center Platform by integrating with the IVRS and CTI (News - Alert). With Voice Biometrics, PerSay provides text dependent and text independent authentication through its proprietary Voice Biometric Engine. This initiative will  deliver a secure, multi factor authentication for access to services provided through the Contact Center and "Secure and Efficient Access" to its Contact Center increasing customer satisfaction.

In December, Huawei announced that it expanded its existing relationship with advanced carrier services provider Metaswitch Networks by licensing a broad portfolio of Metaswitch's network protocol software to power Huawei's next generation family of packet transport platforms.

Under the terms of the partnership agreement announced today, Metaswitch is providing Huawei with Metaswitch's unicast and multicast routing, packet MPLS and VPN/PWE support. Additionally, Huawei will take advantage of Metaswitch's integrated control plane components that bond together the protocol stacks to deliver a fully integrated solution.
