Experian QAS and Demandware Collaborate to Create Turnkey Integration for Retailers

By Anil Sharma, TMCnet Contributor

Experian QAS, a provider of address verification software and services, and Demandware, the global player in on-demand e-commerce, have collaborated to create turnkey integration for retailers.

Officials with Experian QAS recently announced a new integration to Demandware that is designed to improve the customer experience and reduce operational costs.

The new address verification functionality works seamlessly within the retailer's existing e-commerce interface and can be enabled quickly and with minimal information technology resources.

'We are excited to expand our relationship with Demandware,' said David Northridge, vice president of client retention, Experian QAS.

Northridge said that retailers want address quality enhancements without the hassle of custom integrations and architectural changes, and QAS for Demandware offers a competitive integration with which the company can build shared success with Demandware.

According to company officials, the Experian QAS functionality ensures that every address is complete and accurate in real time with minimal change to the existing online shopping experience.

By avoiding address errors, retailers will reduce back-end staff rework and operational costs while improving the customer experience.

The new integration will be featured on the Demandware LINK Marketplace, a community of best-of-breed technology partners designed to remove integration hurdles that retailers face when adopting ecommerce technologies.

'We are thrilled to have Experian QAS as a member of our LINK community,' said Jamus Driscoll, vice president of marketing at Demandware.

Driscoll also said that with the availability of a prebuilt integration to QAS for Demandware, Demandware clients can now implement the industry's leading address verification software in a fraction of the time normally required for such integrations.

'Experian QAS joins us in our quest to make the pain of integration a thing of the past for retailers,' Driscoll said.
