Companies Collaborate to Combine ACD Functionality with Cloud Communications

A new master agent agreement has been forged between EarthBend, a value-added distributor of enterprise telecom and IT offerings, and Crexendo. The partnership will enable EarthBend to provide the Crexendo Cloud Communications Platform to its partners as a value-added solution.

Crexendo’s Cloud Platform offers all the features of a traditional phone system hosted in the cloud, enabling productivity increases and cost savings. Features include everything from call forwarding to ACD functionality and auto attendant, and the solution also offers mobility and portability features in support of remote workers.

The agreement signifies a trend toward telecom and cloud services in the VAD space, particularly as the two areas become entwined. Telecom solutions are increasingly becoming integrated with the cloud and savvy operators realize the importance of offering cloud platforms and services that enable flexibility and portability to their channel partners.

inContact, a leading provider of cloud contact center software and contact center agent optimization tools, is another company working closely in the telecom and cloud space. It recently announced that an existing client is so happy with the company’s current offering that it is expanding the current cloud platform it’s utilizing from inContact to spread across multiple business units.

EarthBend is focused on delivering an intersection of telephony and IT solutions with the cloud becoming a major component. The company specializes in providing scalable and secure solutions that may be easily managed and tailored to meet channel partner and customer needs.
