Aimed at helping organizations with IP-based communications networks meet their E911 requirements, 911 Enable (News - Alert) delivers simple to deploy, easy to manage E911 solutions for service providers and enterprises. The 911 services company is dedicated to continually refining its solutions to enhance customers’ experiences and E911 functionality.
Recently 911 Enable’s Alan Fuks, marketing and partner relations manager for the company, discussed with TMCnet new trends in the E911 space and what attendees can expect from the company in its return to the forthcoming ITEXPO West, the world’s largest communications technology conference and expo being held Sept. 13 to 15 in Austin, Texas.
At last year’s ITEXPO (News - Alert) East, 911 Enable took home the much-coveted Best of Show award for “Best Service Provider Solution,” an accolade that recognizes innovative products and solutions. And, this year, 911 Enable is looking to not only network, but spread the word about its E911 solutions that help organizations comply with the strictest of E911 regulations.
“We’re looking forward to meeting with service providers and enterprises to help them understand their E911 requirements and how we can help them meet those needs in a simple, elegant, and cost-effective manner,” he added.
Over the last year, much of the nation has redirected its focus to adopting legislation for the regulation of 911 services as they apply to MLTS or PBXs. Meanwhile, the 911 services industry has been contemplating Next Generation 911, the “digital, Internet Protocol (IP)-based foundation for the delivery of multimedia 9-1-1 ‘calls.’”
“Next Generation E911 is an important emerging technology,” said Fuks. “911 Enable is focused on making sure our solutions are NG911-ready, so when the time comes, we’ll have mature, fully-developed technologies to meet our customers’ needs.”
