911 Enable Continues Partnership with Aastra USA

911 Enable, a provider of E911 solutions for IP telephony and Aastra USA, a company at the forefront of the enterprise communications market, expanded their partnership with a reseller agreement. The agreement allows Aastra to offer 911 Enable's Emergency Gateway (News
- Alert) (EGW) appliance to its customer base, making it easier for Aastra users to implement an end-to-end IP telephony system that includes the industry's most robust and reliable E911 capabilities.
The EGW, an on-site appliance helps organizations simplify E911 management and meet state and local E911 legislation. Its key functions include automatic IP phone tracking and on-site security desk routing and notification. The EGW also provides organizations with 911 call recording, detailed reporting and monitoring capabilities, and support for off-campus workers. It is the only E911 solution on the market certified with Aastra Clearspan systems.
Lev Deich, director of 911 Enable (News - Alert) said that 911 Enable is excited to partner with Aastra USA as a reseller of our Emergency Gateway and the Emergency Gateway is designed to complement IP-based communications systems like Aastra (News - Alert) Clearspan, and this agreement will help make it easier for Aastra customers to implement E911 capabilities for their entire deployment.
