Celltradeusa.com Seek to Help Users Switch to iPhone

By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Harris Interactive has found that as many as 17 percent of prospective iPhone (News - Alert) buyers will be forced to wait for their current wireless contract to expire before purchasing, according to a PRWeb news report. As a result, many non-AT&T (News - Alert) plans have already been posted on Celltradeusa.com which are looking to become contract-free to gain access to the iPhone.

The US Public Interest Research Group has found that, nearly half of all US cellular phone customers would switch, or consider switching, their current service carrier if they did no obligation of paying an early termination penalty of up to $250.

Celltradeusa.com is the world's first company to help cell phone subscribers in dropping out of cell phone contracts without paying early termination fees. It has developed a unique match-making system that connects the customers, who ‘want out’ of their contract, with a nationwide network of cell phone consumers who are happy to take over contracts with fewer obligations. Celltradeusa.com connects both users, and the consumers execute the ‘contract transfer’ directly with the provider. All major providers have been involved in contract transfers for years. Only Cellradeusa.com has been able to actually make it work.

"We find that most Get Out users are thinking, well I can save the roughly $200 on the termination fee using Celltradeusa.com. Then I can apply that savings toward the iPhone." Craig Wurtenberg, Co-founder of Celltradeusa.com, was quoted as saying in the report.

"It is projected that ten million iPhones will be sold in 2007 alone. AT&T wrote off a large percentage of potential customers who were in contracts. But what if those customers can switch and still avoid the early termination fees? We are also finding that it's a great time to get out of an AT&T/Cingular (News - Alert) contract. Eager consumers will seriously consider taking over AT&T contracts to gain access to the iPhone," Celltradeusa co-founder Eric Wurtenberg was quoted as saying in the report.

Celltradeusa.com provides exclusive opportunities to select two year plans with fewer months left on the contract. The company has contracts with as low as 2 months remaining. Many of the plans have offers of free phones, accessories, and cash incentives. Taking over a contract is 100% free, and the buyer also saves any activation fees that are usually associated with a new service contract.
