T-Mobile’s latest all-in-device, the Wing.is reportedly the first device to be powered by Microsoft (News - Alert) Windows Mobile 6.
Developed by High Tech Computer Corp. (HTC), a leading provider of Microsoft Windows Mobile-based devices, the T-Mobile (News - Alert) Wing offers features not in previous phones. These include a 2-megapixel camera, a brighter screen, better voice quality, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Windows Mobile 6, and a classier overall design. The phone is a myFaves-enabled phone, allowing customers to have quick, one-touch access to their favorite five friends and family.
“In today’s hectic and fast-paced world, staying connected to those who matter most is not easy,” said Leslie Grandy, vice president, Product Development, T-Mobile USA, in a statement. “With the T-Mobile Wing, customers have the freedom to choose how to communicate, whether it’s calling their loved ones, e-mailing with friends, or sharing presentations with a client from one of more than 8,000 T-Mobile HotSpot locations.”
“The HTC-designed T-Mobile Wing is a versatile, user-friendly smart phone that will appeal to a wide range of consumers,” said Todd Achilles, vice president of HTC America, in a statement. “The T-Mobile Wing is 30 percent smaller than its predecessor, the T-Mobile MDA, and is packed with broad functionality that enables users to experience the best in connectivity, productivity and mobility.”
