Bharti Airtel Limited announced the launch of its tie up with Samsung (News - Alert) Telecommunications India, offering a handset bundle for new prepaid customers in Mumbai.
The bundle prepaid offer will provide its users with free talk time worth Rs 2299 and incoming/outgoing validity for 24 months.
Key features of the handset include emergency SMS service, a color LCD screen, 16 polyphonic ring tones, a phonebook memory of 500 entries, and speakerphone. It meets GPRS Class 8 and it comes with one year warranty.
Bharti Airtel Ltd CEO Mumbai and Maharashtra and Goa circle Manu Talwar said in a statement, "We at Airtel are proud to introduce Samsung C-140 for Airtel prepaid users which is a budgeted phone with unique security features like emergency SMS service. We aim to introduce more offers which will further deliver user friendly accessibility together with cost effectiveness."
