Go for Mobile 2.0 that is compatible on all 75 Windows Mobile powered devices from different manufacturers. To date, Yahoo! Go supports more than 100 mobile phone models available in the market.

Yahoo! Go 2.0 is an application which brings the power of Web 2.0 to mobile devices. It allows users to customize their mobile Internet experience according to their diverse tastes, interests and needs. Additionally, it aims to redefine mobile search by gathering information with just one click.

In a press release, Microsoft (News - Alert) Corp. general manager John O’Rourke said, “Yahoo! Go 2.0 includes an exciting set of features that helps people access their favorite Internet content while mobile. The combination of this application with a Windows Mobile powered device will allow our joint customers to get quick access to the Yahoo! experiences they want - from news to e-mail to photo sharing - all from a single, powerful device.”

To fully realize its efforts to capture Windows Mobile powered devices, Yahoo! has partnered with HTC to preload their services including Yahoo! Go 2.0 on millions of HTC devices developed. Moreover, it is expected that other manufacturers of Windows Mobile powered devices will be support Yahoo! Go in this venture.

“There are millions of mobile phones on the Windows Mobile platform in the market today and consumers with these devices want to use the most advanced, exciting services available,” stated Yahoo! senior vice president of connected life Marco Boerries, in the press release. “Our innovative Yahoo! Go 2.0 service finally brings the open Internet to the mobile phone and gives consumers the compelling experience they have been looking for.”

Additional features of Yahoo! Go 2.0 for Windows Mobile include oneSearch, to make mobile search easy, and several widgets including Flickr photo sharing, E-mails, and news ticker on Sports, Entertainment, and Weather.
