Cisco had announced that it
filed suit against Apple for trademark infringement last month in regards to the “iPhone” name. Apple (

launch a new mobile device in June called “iPhone.” The name had already been chosen and trademarked by Cisco’s Linksys (

iPhone devices also last month.
In a joint announcement, the companies also said today that they have agreed to look into exploring “opportunities for interoperability in the areas of security, and consumer and enterprise communications” in the future.
Apple’s iPhone device is set to hit Cingular (
