STK Intros BTHS600 Bluetooth Enabled Stereo Headset

By Jyothi Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Santok, a supplier of cellular products including handsets, accessories and consumer electronics, has introduced the BTHS600 Bluetooth Stereo Headset available for £39.99 from www.a1mobilechoice.co.uk.

This new innovative headset features Hi-Fi sound quality and can be used with Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones, MP3 players or computers to allow fo0r hands free communication or for listening to music.

The new headset also enables users toautomatically switch to phone mode if they are listening to music and its fingertip sensitive and intuitively positioned function buttons help to remotely control phone or music players, to play or pause, adjust volume or skip tracks as well as take phone calls.

Bluetooth is a standard and communications protocol primarily designed for low power consumption, with a short range (power-class-dependent: 1 meter, 10 meters, 100 meters) based on low-cost transceiver microchips in each device.

Bluetooth makes it possible for these devices to communicate with each other when they are in range. Because the devices use a radio communications system, they do not have to be in line of sight of each other and can even be far apart if the transmission has sufficient power.

Santok also recently introduced the BTH-10 Bluetooth headset which is compatible with all Bluetooth phones and includes a voice dialling and last number redial function as well as up to 5 hours of talk time or up to 200 hours of stand-by time before needing to be recharged.

Santok was also recently awarded ISO 14001 certification. The company said this award demonstrates their commitment towards conducting business with high regard for environmental matters.
