Mobile games publisher Glu Mobile ( News - Alert) recently introduced two new titles, Bonsai Blast and Brain Genius Deluxe, for use with the Android open source mobile platform.
Glu is one of the first mobile games publishers to develop and launch games for the Android ( News - Alert) platform.
Brain Genius Deluxe features enhanced graphics and audio, taking players through a daily set of fun and brain teasers. It challenges players with 24 intuitive touch or motion-controlled games. Players will also get bonus puzzles including Sudoku and Jigsaws.
Bonsai Blast is yet another action-puzzle game that challenges players to shoot and match colored balls to clear more than 20 levels of detailed environments.
“Our work with Google ( News - Alert) along with the Open Handset Alliance has allowed us to develop Bonsai Blast and Brain Genius Deluxe using the full capabilities of the platform,” said Alex Galvagni, senior vice president of global production and CEO at Glu.
Galvagni also mentioned that through this kind of relationship with the Open Handset Alliance ( News - Alert), the company has achieved the ability to become one of the first mobile games developers to explore the device and exploit its technology to create truly engaging games that T-Mobile ( News - Alert) G1 consumers can enjoy.
Both Glu titles are now available only in the Android Market and are free to T-Mobile consumers with G1 devices.
