For most people today, owning lots of gadgets and devices is a way of life. MP3 players, cell phones, digital cameras, PDA's and other devices have become a staple to productivity, mobility and leisure.
While a number of benefits result from the development of such devices, one of the common problems Malleable Devices Inc., a company dedicated to the design and development of smart solutions to common problems in today's high-tech world has recognized, is the numerous amounts of wires and cables needed to power and fully utilize the devices.
As a solution, the company announced today the development of the kwikSynCh charger, a multi-charger that offers car/ wall/ USB power and data capabilities for small electronic devices.
The irony behind keeping these technologies powered, is that while they make our lives easier and more productive, all the chargers for the car, for the wall, and the different USB wires needed for each brand and type of device can not only cause a tangled mess of wires, but can also be costly as most wires cost somewhere between thirty and forty dollars each.
For the mobile worker, or road warrior, having to carry around all of these various wires and devices when traveling can be an extra hassle. By eliminating the need to carry around extra chargers and other wires, mean saving room, time and money.
The multi-charger features interchangeable mTips, available at $6.95 per tip, that are compatible with MP3 players, cell phones, PDAs, Bluetooth headsets and cameras. The mTips are available in 40 different choices including a vast array of brand names.
The charger offers even more functionality with the ability to charge two devices at the same time. This is a great benefit when more than one device is low on power at the same time and having to make a choice of which to power first presents yet another problem.
The kwikSynCh charger also separates itself by offering a universal USB 2.0 data system. "This functionality enables consumers to transfer music, pictures, video and other media including iTunes, digital photos and streaming video between their PC or MAC and their data devices," a news release noted.
