Canadian company Paradigm, which specializes in speaker design, has re-vamped its Monitor product line by introducing the new Series v.6 speakers.

 

With redesigned magnetic grilles and a new finish, the Monitor v.6 grilles feature ultra-low diffraction with re-worked, reinforced placement of the magnets that ensure the grilles to stay perfectly centered over the baffle at all times.

 

Mark Aling, Paradigm’s marketing manager, said that when a product is well-designed and experiences strong sales, it doesn’t make much sense to re-invent it from top to bottom.

 

“However, if the R&D team identifies something that can be improved, even incrementally, our philosophy is that such changes enhance the value of the product. Paradigm’s customers and dealers deserve the best value possible, and that’s what Monitor Series v.6 is all about,” Aling said.

 

With a the new Wengé finish option and moderately powered amplifiers, the Monitor Series v.6 speakers incorporate SuperDrive technology for high efficiency with excellent output and low distortion.

 

Modified phase-coherent crossovers, plus an updated voice coil for the Titan Monitor bookshelf speaker makes this product unique, Paradigm said in its announcement.
