Eastman Kodak (News - Alert) (News - Alert) Company released several innovative and interactive products enabling users to experience their photos and videos in new ways from capture to viewing and sharing. The new suite includes High-Definition (HD) enabled products including two new categories introduced for the brand.  


They are KODAK Theatre HD Player and KODAK Zi6 Pocket Video Camera. KODAK EASYSHARE Z1015 IS Digital Camera and KODAK EASYSHARE W-Series Digital Frames are additions to Kodak’s digital camera and digital frame portfolios.

“Consumers are asking for solutions that free their trapped images from PCs, memory cards and digital cameras. They are asking for sleek and innovative, yet intuitive devices. They want an abundance of resources for capturing and displaying content in HD. The innovative portfolio introduced today addresses those needs and will inspire consumers to experience and explore moments they love in exciting new ways,” added Blake. 


The Kodak Theatre HD Player is an interactive device which displays personal and Web-based content on an HDTV connected wirelessly to private Wi-Fi Network in the house. It can display HD still images with 16:9 Aspect (News - Alert) (News - Alert) ratio and video (720p) on a HDTV. The Kodak Theatre can be remotely operated and enables users to view slide shows, edit ad upload images and videos to online content sharing sites. 


It enables photo sharing using its partnerships with Flickr and KODAK Gallery. Partnerships with FrameChannel, YouTube (News - Alert) (News - Alert) and RadioTime give access to imaging content, interactive and engaging multimedia experience. The HD Player is compatible with USB drives and SD memory cards. FrameChannel offers access to news and information also. 


The W1020 and W820 wireless digital frame models offer 800x 480 high-resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio digital display with size 10-inch and 8-inch respectively and display images in HD format. 


The Quick Touch Border allows simple and easy frame control by a touch or slide of the finger. The frames can store up to 4000 pictures with the 512MB capacity internal memory. More pictures can be stored using dual memory card slots or copying digital files from digital still camera, home PC, or USB Jump Drive. 


The Kodak Zi6 Pocket Video Camera allows HD video capture viewed on a 2.4-inch TFT LCD screen. It enables sharing video and the ARCSOFT video software helps edit, personalize and share videos through sites like YouTube. 


KODAK EASYSHARE Z1015 IS Digital Camera has 10MP resolution and SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH 15x optical zoom and 28mm wide-angle lens for capturing long distance and wide-angle shots. HD still images can be taken and viewed on a large 3-inch LCD screen.
