Cordless phones are practically synonymous with convenience and ease of use. Not only do these phones do away with unsightly, trailing wires, they also provide the flexibility of moving around unhampered while talking.
These revolutionary telecom devices have now also been improved upon to an even greater extent to include features normally only associated with wired phones.
These features include innovative functions like speed dialing and embedded answering machines as well as SMS support and polyphonic tunes.
Cordless phones work through radio waves. Each unit of the phone has two components, the base and the handset.
The base receives incoming calls and then changes these into FM radio signals, then transmitting them to the handset. This also works in the opposite way for outgoing calls.
BT has an entire range of phones, such as the Synergy ( News - Alert) 4500, Verve 500 Twin, Verve 500, Diverse 6350 Twin, Synergy Squad and more.
Also, Panasonic ( News - Alert) has introduced devices like KXTG9150, KXTCD240, KXTCD290ET and KXTG9150.
