DIGITUS has launched a new USB Audio Adapter that is ready for use as soon as it is connected to the PC.
The new USB is a better alternative to a regular sound card and can be plugged into the front panel or the USB hub via the standard 3.5mm jack plug connection. This means, microphones, loudspeakers, headsets or earphones can be used without having to reach at the back of the PC housing.
The device is interoperable with the USB 2.0 and USB Audio Device Class specification v1.0 and is supported by operating systems Windows 2000/XP/Vista and MAC OS9/OS10.
The adapter is equipped with a 16 bit audio DAC amplifier and a 16-bit ADC microphone amplifier. It also uses LEDs to indicate the operating status. Plus, its integrated Plug & Play function eliminates the need for drivers.
The USB Audio Adapter DA-70777 is expected to list at € 10,90.
