Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation devices supplier Mio Technology is entering into global markets with the recent launch of its new e-Store, which the company said is a one-stop-shop for an extensive collection of GPS accessories.
Mio Technology is the GPS navigation brand name of Mitac International Corporations. It focuses on developing and marketing products that enable users to take advantage of the latest mobile services. Established in May 2002, the brand is operational in Taiwan, mainland China, Europe, North America, Australia, Japan and South Korea.
In January, the company announced its entry to the Indonesia market with a complete line-up of GPS products, including the A702 GPS PDA phone, car navigation series (C230, C320), and P360 PDA navigation solution, and P560.
Mio’s e-Store offers a variety of GPS accessories, including car and bicycle mounts, in-car chargers and GPS antennas, as well as map updates for some of the company’s most popular devices. The products are also available from selected retail and “e-tail” partners.
“We’re constantly working to improve the Mio experience for our customers and to offer additional tools that make their Mio devices more functional and fresh,” said Kiyoshi Hamai, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing at Mio Technology USA. “Whether you’re always getting lost, or you’ve simply lost your car adapter, the Mio Technology USA e-Store can help.”
Some of the new products available from Mio Technology USA include; Mio Map Update DVDs for the Mio C230 and C320 navigators, along with existing map updates for the Mio C310x and C520 navigators. For the Mio GPS Antenna, a connector is available which plugs into the antenna slot of the Mio GPS and delivers improved signals immediately. The bicycle mount, In-car Charger or Windshield Mount, device holders, Mio USB Cable, facility to transfer different text-to-speech languages using the MioMore are some of the other interesting add-ons available for GPS devices at e-Store.
Mio accessories range in price from $4.99 to $69.95.
