ASSMANN Electronic GmbH, a German manufacturer of computer accessories and network solutions, has added two new gadgets to its existing range of DIGITUS products - the DIGITUS Bluetooth Stereo Audio Adapter with earphones and the DIGITUS Bluetooth Headset.
The DIGITUS Bluetooth Stereo Audio Adapter DN-3019 is designed for compatibility with bluetooth enabled computers, mobile phones, and MP3 players. Once plugged into an audio device, the adapter can transmit audio directly to a bluetooth-enabled headset. It provides sound clarity within a range of up to 15 meters and has a battery life of 6.5 hours.
The stereo audio adapter supports MSN and Skype ( News - Alert) Messengers along with MP3 players and other audio sources using the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP).
Conveniently sized (60mm x 26mm x 8mm) the adapter comes with a call-acceptance button for taking telephone calls. A USB charging cable and a set of earphones are included with the adapter.
The DIGITUS Bluetooth Headset DN-3012 has a compact design (45mm x 11mm x 18mm) and comes with a range of up to 10 meters. It has a battery life of 5 hours (100 hrs in the standby mode) and is compatible with computers, PDAs, and mobile devices. Both the DIGITUS headset and adapter come with a rechargeable lithium polymer battery.
For devices that are not bluetooth compatible, ASSMANN offers the DIGITUS audio transmitter DN-3014 that can be plugged into any audio devices supporting a 3.5 mm-audio jack and transmits audio signals to a DIGITUS headset or stereo adapter.
