Combining performance and features with low prices, Microsoft ( News - Alert) Corp. has unveiled LifeCam VX-5000, a Webcam with a bendable attachment base that molds to virtually any surface.
 Microsoft is also offering the LifeChat LX-2000, a full-size headset that folds down into a small, portable shape. Both products are designed for consumers on the go.
The LifeCam VX-5000 comes with MSN Photo Swap for sharing digital photos in midvideo conversation and viewing real-time reactions as both callers view pictures. It also features a colored ring around the front, available in blue, green and red.
With the help of Photo Swap, the owners of digital camera helps bring the pictures to life as a virtual photo album. With the Photo Swap feature in the Windows Live Messenger, viewers can see and hear the reaction of their friends and family and feel like they are sitting right next to each other.
 The VX-5000 comes with key features such as Windows LiveCall Button; VGA optics and sensor; LifeCam Dashboard; pan, tilt and 3X digital zoom features; and built-in unidirectional microphone with acoustic noise cancellation.
LifeChat LX-2000 is a portable, full-size headset. It features a collapsible design, folding into a compact shape for easy portability.
The camera and headset can both be used with major instant messaging programs, and there is no software needed for setup.
The LifeCam VX-5000 will be widely available in June, with a suggested price of $49.95. (U.S.). The LifeCam VX-500 and LifeChat LX-2000 is available now for a suggested price of $29.95.
