Pioneer recently introduced its new internal and external DVD/CD writers, which provide a 20x write speed along with software from Nero ( News - Alert).
The company has introduced four new internal writers and one external writer, Wireless News report. DVR-2910 is an internal DVD/CD writer with the Serial ATA (SATA) interface, designed to allow data transfer between a computer and hard disk drive or optical drive storage device. It provides a rapid 20x DVD-R/+R writing speed thanks to Pioneer’s optical drive technology.
DVD-2910 reads and writes to dual layer discs to increase the capacity of a DVD from 4.7 to 8.5 gigabytes for even more storage space. DVD-2910 will be available for sale in February.
DVR-213LS is an internal DVD/CD writer with Serial ATA (SATA) interface, LightScribe Direct-to-Disc Labeling, and 20x write speed on DVD-R media. This drive is expected to be available for sale in February.
DVR-1910 is an internal DVD/CD writer with Pioneer optical disc technology and software from Nero. With this writer, users can share home videos and vacation photo slideshows complete with music soundtracks. It is equipped with Liquid Crystal Tilt/Blur Compensator technology.
DVR-1910LS is the second version of DVR-1910 which comes with LightScribe Direct-to-Disc technology. Both DVR-1910 and DVR-1910LS will be available for sale in February.
Pioneer DVR-X152 is an External USB 2.0 DVD/CD Writer with a USB 2.0 port. The Pioneer DVR-X152 offers high-speed 20x write speed on DVD-R discs. Also, the Nero software bundle is included so that the users can create videos, digital photo slideshows, music compilation CDs, and more.
These new products by Pioneer provide an economical, durable storage medium with a sizeable data capacity and rapid burning capability to provide long-lasting maintenance of personal files, Wireless News said in its report.
