Telular Corporation has made available its Telguard Interactive smart phone app on its entire line of residential communicators, including the TG-1 Express, the TG-1B, and the TG-4 in primary mode. The entire line of cellular alarm communicators are featured at ISC West, booth number 16109, April 6 – 8, 2011, in Las Vegas.

The app is available for the iPhone, Android (News - Alert) and BlackBerry platform. In addition to being able to remotely arm or disarm their security system, homeowners can view history and also receive notifications about changes made to the alarm status. It is easy to install and requires minimal programming.

He further added that as a result of the initial launch of Telguard Interactive with the TG-1 Express, RMR from new and existing customers was being doubled by installing the app to control the alarm system using the smartphone.

In a related news release, TMCnet reported that Telular Corporation announced that home security monitoring provider Monitronics (News - Alert) was launching Telguard Interactive to their national dealer base as part of its enhanced service strategy beginning in May 2011.
