i.Sound, a provider of a wide range of high quality portable speakers and accessories for iPod and MP3 models, has launched i.Sound RoadTalk, a latest addition to its innovative speaker accessory line.
The i.Sound RoadTalk is a hands-free wireless car kit that synchronizes Bluetooth mobile phones with a user's car stereo.
This iPhone ( News - Alert) compatible and multi-tasking gadget brings to the user the latest hands-free Bluetooth technology with full-frequency FM transmission of audio from mobile phones, iPods and other MP3 players and a state-of-the-art microphone technology and wireless MP3-to-car stereo direct conversion.
With the offering, users plug-in the small FM transmitter directly into the car’s cigarette lighter to transmit the conversation through the car's stereo.
Hands-free devices have become a necessity for car owners to communicate while driving, as many states have banned the use of handheld mobile phones while driving.
According to a study by the National Highway Safety Administration and the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute, 80 percent of crashes and 65 percent of near-crashes involved some form of driver distraction within seconds of impact.
“The i.Sound RoadTalk was created with the understanding of not only what the consumer wants, but what the consumer needs. The i.Sound RoadTalk combines convenience with safety, tying both to the quality digital sound Bluetooth users have come to expect,” said dreamGEAR’s co-founder Richard Weston.
