By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributing Editor

CEO Creditz Inc., exclusive Canadian licensee of CREDITZ Digital Currency, has announced integration with the Pepper Pad 3 product line of Hanbit America, LLC. The wireless application enables merchants to accept CREDITZ as payment. Additionally, they can also provide their customers with CREDITZ Digital Currency for regular purchases.

“CREDITZ has a unique system that combines business intelligence, a cost effective transaction engine and marketing capabilities like never before,” said Mark Phillips, Director of Business Development at Hanbit America, in a press release. “It was obvious to us that when combined with the Pepper Pad 3’s portability and ease of use, we could demonstrate one of the most compelling mobile web solutions available today.”

Through the CREDITZ vTerminal system and the integrated Pepper Pad 3 handheld Web tablet, CREDITZ merchants and account holders can directly benefit from CREDITZ. This system offers them a fast, simple and secure digital currency transaction solution within the CREDITZ loyalty payment system.

The CREDITZ vTerminal can be accessed via the new Pepper Pad 3, which can be plugged on to the internet. Users need not download anything and the application can be installed with ease. Deployed on the CREDITZ infrastructure at IBM (News - Alert) Global Services, the application transforms itself into a stand-alone payment system for merchants in the field. The range covered includes applications for home improvement, service companies, restaurants, special events operators and retail.

David Vaters, CEO and president of CEOX, said, “The Pepper Pad 3, when combined with the CREDITZ Virtual Terminal, allows any merchant to become mobile, or use the web to access their CREDITZ account. This provides a huge opportunity for merchants to utilize the CREDITZ System at remote locations, or in-store with ease.”

The integrated Pepper Pad 3 handheld web computer is maintenance-free as well as virus and spyware resistant. With the help of this application, users can browse the Web, e-mail and instant message, edit and share photos, download and stream music, and watch videos and more.

The Pepper Pad 3 offers entertainment with the best portability. It weighs just 2.2-pounds and features a seven-inch, high-resolution color LCD as well as a built-in touch screen to view full size Web pages and full screen videos. Additionally, the Pepper Pad 3 also has a full split QWERTY keypad, a 20-gigabyte hard drive, WiFi b/g plus Bluetooth and USB compatibility.

The Pepper Pad 3 incorporates a multi-room activity-based A/V Remote Control application with infrared capabilities, which allows users to access and manage any A/V devices at home. In addition to this, the Pepper Pad 3’s UPnP capabilities offer access to media stored on Windows XP Computers.

The Pepper Pad 3 is available in pink, matte black and white and has an MSRP of $699.99. It is available at Amazon.com (News - Alert).
