NIVS IntelliMedia Technology Group, a consumer electronics company that designs, manufactures and sells intelligent audio visual products and mobile phones, announced that it expects its business model to offer an opportunity to take advantage of China's growth.
NIVS is poised to show excellent growth in China by utilizing China’s urban disposable income and increasing desire for electronics such as LCD TVs, music players and digital video set-top boxes, as well the increasingly popular mobile phones from NIVS, company officials said.
As part of its corporate initiatives for 2011, NIVS is looking to establish itself as China's preeminent integrated consumer electronics company. The company will focus on innovative research and development.
NIVS is also planning to expand its product portfolio with increasingly popular consumer electronics devices in China, such as its 3G mobile handsets, according to company officials.
DailyFinance, an AOL (News - Alert) Money and Finance site, recently posted an article by Wall Street Journal columnist Gene Marcial about NIVS’ growth opportunities in China.
“It is an honor to appear in an online portal as well-known in the U.S. as AOL's DailyFinance,” said Tianfu Li, chairman and CEO of NIVS, in a statement. “NIVS is pleased about the recognition and we believe the timing couldn't be better for both investors and consumers of our electronics.”
The article focuses on the potential for growth by expanding consumer electronics and mobile phone industries in China.
NIVS represents an extraordinary opportunity, as stated in the article, as China's rising middle class continues to fuel the country's high-growth electronics industry. Marcial’s piece describes the wide array of products that NIVS sells in China and 80 countries around the world.
China Telecom (News - Alert), one of the leading telecom operators, has already contributed more than $30 million revenues for NIVS branded mobile phones in 2010.
NIVS has already developed leading Chinese speech interactive technology, which forms a foundation for the company's intelligent audio and visual systems, including digital audio, LCD televisions, digital video broadcasting set-top boxes, peripherals and more.
Back in November 2010, NIVS announced it received $2.98 million in mobile phone contracts from a merchandising conference. The company earned from the provinces of Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Hebei, and Neimeng to name a few and also from major cities like Guangzhou, Beijing, Chongqing and Shenzhen.
