Over the last decade, a number of electronics manufacturers have come out with high-end, noise-canceling headphones for real music lovers. Unfortunately, these products tend to be rather bulky, and make it difficult for consumers to do anything active while listening to music. For this reason, most gym rats and outdoorsmen use lightweight, generic earbuds similar to those that come with an iPod.
In an effort to offer serious music lovers a more portable solution, V-Moda recently launched a new set of in-ear headphones that incorporate style, functionality and premium digital sound.
The music lifestyle brand's Vibrato earbuds are manufactured with premium Zinc Alloy, giving them a stylish, jewelry-quality feel that is much more durable than any plastic or aluminum product. They come with a 3.5 mm microphone and a three-button remote control, meaning users can manage music and video playback, volume and voice memo recording functionality directly from their headphones.
Furthermore, the microphone enables iPhone (News - Alert) owners to transition away from their music and pick up a call without having to take their earphones off.
Traditionally, companies have stayed away from developing high-end in-ear headphones with noise-cancelling technology because it is difficult to create a comfortable yet secure fit. To combat this issue, V-Moda engineered the Vibrato's hybrid silicon eartips in four different sizes.
The earbuds are also equipped with V-Moda’s Bliss noise isolating and V-Masque technologies, which the company claims reduces background chatter, enables a deep bass and improves frequency response, according to Softpedia.
“Vibrato was masterfully tuned in collaboration with professional musicians to recreate the sensations of a live music or club experience,” said Val Kolton, professional deejay and CEO of V-MODA (News - Alert).
“Apart from the great sound, it has a distinctive angular look and a solid, luxurious feel that can only be truly experienced firsthand,” Kolton added.
The Vibrato headphones are currently available for purchase at Apple (News - Alert) retail outlets for $129.99. They are expected to go on sale at Apple's online store in the near future. Although the price seems rather steep, V-Moda is offering a two-year warranty on every pair that it sells, Digital Trends reports.
