Convergys Corporation Selected By AT&T
Wireless For 3G Billing And Provisioning Contract
Convergys Corporation (NYSE:CVG),
a global provider in integrated billing and customer care services,
announced it has signed an agreement with AT&T
Wireless to support its deployment of third generation (3G) wireless
service.
Specifically, Convergys will provide provisioning and billing software
and services in a service bureau environment using its Atlys billing and
customer care solution to support AT&T Wireless' roll-out of a broad
new array of 3G services. The Atlys solution can support many additional
functions including Internet, high-speed data, and mobile commerce
services and features general packet radio service (GPRS) support, IP
mediation and provisioning gateway, event-based rating, global roaming
(TAP3), "pre-call" prepaid support, enhanced Web-based
self-care, and Internationalization enhancements.
