Graybar To Distribute Sound Advantage Unified
Communications Products
Sound Advantage announces a
distribution agreement with Graybar Electric
Company, Inc. to market its award-winning SANDi speech-enabled unified
communications products through Graybar's extensive reseller channel.
Graybar is the leading national independent distributor of
communications, data and electrical products with sales exceeding $5
billion annually.
The agreement gives Graybar entr�e into the emerging speech
recognition and unified communications segments of the telephony market.
Sound Advantage gains an important channel for its products scaled for
small business, SANDi Lite 2.1 and SANDi Standard 2.1.
Under the agreement, Graybar will aggressively promote SANDi through
its large nationwide network of resellers. The marketing campaign will
focus on facilitating bundling arrangements with other small business
telephone systems and other products already in the Graybar catalog.
Graybar will also stock SANDi systems in selected zone inventory for easy
access by resellers.
"Graybar represents an important channel for Sound Advantage's
small business products," says James MacKnight, director of business
development for Sound Advantage. "Their supply chain is extensive and
strong. In addition, because Graybar also works with a number of telephone
switch manufacturers, Sound Advantage will have a great opportunity to
bundle our SANDi Lite and SANDi Standard products with several premium key
system suppliers that Graybar represents."
