Animetrics and Duos Technologies have announced they entered into a strategic technology and marketing partnership. As per the alliance, Duos applications and solutions will make use of Animetrics core software engine for facial recognition.

Duos Technologies specializes in a broad range of technology solutions based on the physical and logical protection of critical infrastructure. Duos proposes to make use of Animetrics “2Dto3D” face biometrics technology for the gateway applications in its proprietary video analytics said the company.

“Animetrics brings a new level of accuracy to the process of facial identification, one of the more challenging tasks in a video security application,” said Gianni Arcaini, Chairman and CEO of Duos.

Duos Technologies specializes in systems which are based on object detection and behavioral analysis software. This is controlled by the multi-layer control
platform of the company. This enables a seamless integration of several sensing technologies into a unified command and control interface.

These automated systems are most suitable for Homeland Security applications as well as in transportation, petrochemical and healthcare industries.
