China Telecom Has 100mn Broadband UsersFeb 26, 2013 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Broadband users of China Telecom Corporation, Ltd. (SEHK: 0728, NYSE: CHA) had exceeded 100 million by the end of 2012, according to the company's vice general manager Zhang Jiping. Over 70% of the broadband users are 4M users, added Mr. Zhang. After investing in broadband access network in the past years, China Telecom had managed to absorb 100 million users by the end of 2012, 13.33 million more than that in the same period of 2011. Meanwhile, over 10,000 administrative villages had got broadband access by the reporting period.
