Quark Software names new chief technology officer


Feb 22, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Quark Software Inc. has announced the appointment of Dave White as chief technology officer. He was formerly vice president of alliances and emerging technology for the company.

White is now responsible for leading Quark's product teams and strategy. White is an engineer by training with two decades in the publishing software industry. Prior to joining Quark in 2008, he was vice president of Product Strategy at PTC and Arbortext where he led initiatives for executing on emerging technologies, strategic partnerships, and acquisitions.



"Dave White has been instrumental in guiding Quark's partner and product strategy across our growing enterprise business, and he was key in driving our recent acquisition of Mobile IQ, whose HTML5 publishing technology is at the core of our App Studio solution," said Ray Schiavone, President and CEO of Quark.
