Boulder weather: 2 to 4 inches of snow expected tonight

Today's forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with a high near 40 and winds 5 to 8 mph. There is a 30 percent chance of snow after 11 a.m., with less than half an inch of daytime accumulation expected.

The overnight low is expected to be near 22 with winds 7 to 9 mph. There is an 80 percent chance of snow, with 2 to 4 inches of accumulation expected.


Thursday's forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with a high near 29 and winds 5 to 7mph. There is a 70 percent chance of snow before 11 a.m., with less than half an inch of new snow expected. The overnight low is expected to be near 16, with winds 6 mph.

Friday's forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high near 38 and winds 7 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph. The overnight low is expected to be near 21.
