MARCA Adds Media and Creative Talent


Feb 15, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- MARCA Miami, a national marketing communications and advertising agency based in Coconut Grove and focusing on multi-cultural markets in the United States and Latin America, announces the addition two more professionals to its media management and creative teams. The new hires will be critical in managing the agency's expanded portfolio of clients, including newly won accounts Payless Shoe Source, DishLATINO and TracFone Wireless.



Andrea Slodowicz assumes the post of Media Director. Born and raised in Argentina, Slodowicz served as VP Director of Strategy and Content Development at Starcom MediaVest Group Multicultural. She is a leading expert in consumer communication and innovation, and has worked with numerous top 500 advertisers including Kraft, Post, Avon, Heineken and Comcast. Later, as VP of Marketing and Community at CafeMom, she was also instrumental in the launch of MamasLatinas, the first bilingual online destination for Latina moms. After the launch, Slodowicz led core acquisition, engagement and retention efforts for the site. Slodowicz has been widely recognized for her achievements, and has won an Effie as well as nine Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies Media Planning Awards.

Chava Noriega joins MARCA as Associate Creative Director. A Mexican national, Noriega comes to the agency with 15 years of experience, gained both in the Mexican and US Hispanic markets working for international agencies Draftfcb, TBWA/Chiat/Day, Y&R, Grey Group and JWT among others, handling accounts including Heineken, SC Johnson, Nabisco, Kraft Foods, Diageo, The Coca-Cola Company, Volkswagen and P&G. Noriega has been both a winner and a finalist in creative award competitions at Cannes, Fiap, El Ojo de Iberoamerica, El Sol, Echo Awards and the London International Advertising Awards.
