BRIEF: Boulder weather: Mostly sunny, high of 56 today; 1 inch of snow possible Saturday

Today's high is forecast to reach 56 with winds in the 5 mph to 8 mph range. Tonight, the low will hit about 27.

Saturday, the weather service calls for a 50 percent chance of rain and snow after 11 a.m. with daytime highs of 46. Less than an inch of snow is expected to accumulate.


Saturday night, that chance of snow increases to 70 percent, with less than half an inch expected to fall during the night. The overnight low is forecast to hit 21.

On Sunday, there's a 20 percent chance before 11 a.m. under mostly cloudy skies and a high of 37.

After that, there's no possibilities of precipitation in the forecast until Thursday. Highs during the week will start at 35 on Monday and climb into the 40s through Thursday.
