Pakistan Haj Mission impressed with Zain services

Feb 04, 2013 (Arab News - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Zain KSA and the Pakistan Haj Mission (PHM), Consulate General of Pakistan, celebrated the successful completion of their collaboration in providing Pakistan pilgrims with end-to-end innovative mobile communications and safety services during the Haj season of 2012.

As part of the collaboration, Zain KSA provided dedicated Urdu-speaking customer care professionals that could be reached at any time via a short code, SIM card distribution and emergency tracking services for guiding and facilitating pilgrims during their stay in Saudi Arabia for the performance of Hajj 1433H.

The requirements were made by the Pakistan Haj Mission in order to provide Haj visitors with the best communication, safety and security measures.

Saud Al-Bawardi, chief commercial officer in Zain KSA says, the company is very pleased to have been chosen by the Pakistan Haj Mission to provide such important services for pilgrims.

By working closely with the PHM and the company's industry partners, they were able to set up the service in record time and have surely set the bar in terms of telecom safety, security and emergency services for many Haj seasons to come.

This milestone can only contribute to the positive collaboration between the two countries, hoping to replicate and further extend this success in the coming years, said Al-Bawardi.

Rafeo Bashir Shah, consul, Pakistan Haj Mission, said Zain KSA was selected because of its open and flexible approach in tailoring their services to suit the needs of the Pakistan Haj Mission.

He said the company's tireless efforts and dedication in partnership with professional representatives from the Haj Mission, ensured that the PHM was able to deliver maximum support for pilgrims' communication needs, including advanced location services.
