VideoPropulsion Now Shipping FG-4000E Pool For Controlling DISH Network Commercial Analog Headends

Slinger, WI, Jan 23, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- VideoPropulsion(R) (OTC:VPTV) extends the Company's industry leading FloodGate(R) family of HDTV headends for hotels by introducing the FloodGate FG-4000E "Pool" for control of analog only or mixed analog and HD digital sites. The Pool is designed to provide system operators with remote management and diagnostic capabilities for DISH Network(R) as well as Bell Canada Satellite analog headends for commercial environments.

The FG-4000E Pool can control and manage up to 99 receivers, including DISH Network models ViP-211, ViP-211k, ViP-222, and ViP-222k, and Bell Satellite models 6131 and 6400. The Pool provides advanced control and diagnostics including: view & set tuner channel, view individual tuner status, reboot receiver, show transponder, channel, and signal level of all receivers, and perform software updates in a controlled manner. It can disable Nightly Updates and Inactivity Standby, and lock the front panel buttons and disable IR/UHF reception for improved tamper resistance in the headend. Everything is controlled through an easy to use web-based graphical user interface.

"Commercial headend operators have been frustrated by a lack of automation and control over headend resources in remote locations", said Kathy Cain, Vice President of Sales for VideoPropulsion. "The FG-4000E Pool aides the operator in providing a higher level of service for their commercial customers - through secure, remote access across the Internet into any connected headend. From the simplest of tasks like changing a receiver's channel, to performing a receiver software update, the Pool puts the operator in greater control and greatly minimizes costly truck rolls." FloodGate FG-4000E Pool is available through Pace International distributing and direct from VideoPropulsion.
