BRIEF: QTS acquires Internet data center operator in Sacramento


Jan 04, 2013 (The Sacramento Bee - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Overland Park, Kans.-based QTS, which bills itself as one of the nation's largest providers of data center facilities and managed services, said it has completed the acquisition of Herakles, which operates an Internet data center in Sacramento.



Financial terms of the QTS -- or Quality Technology Services -- acquisition were not disclosed.

The Sacramento center at 1100 North Market Blvd. comprises 92,000 square feet.


Officials said the Herakles facility will be fully integrated into QTS' data center portfolio as the QTS Sacramento Data Center.
