Jan 04, 2013 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- EchoStar Corp. (NASDAQ: SATS) said that SiriusXM Radio veteran executive Derek de Bastos has joined EchoStar Satellite Services, a subsidiary of EchoStar Corp., as chief technology officer.

He also held management positions with Worldspace Inc. and Lockheed Martin (formerly RCA) Astro Space.
