SES signs capacity agreement with Level 3 to support Brazilian enterprises


Nov 30, 2012 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Satellite operator SES (Paris: SESG.PA) announced on yesterday the signing of a long-term capacity agreement with Level 3 Communications (NYSE:LVLT), a provider of communication services, for the delivery of advanced corporate communications services to businesses across Brazil.



Under the agreement, financial details of which were not available, Level 3 in Latin America is utilising 25 MHz of Ku-band capacity aboard SES' new SES-4 satellite to deliver high-speed broadband and unified and highly reliable IP communications to small and large enterprises in Brazil.

Both companies currently deliver together sophisticated telecom and video solutions to businesses in Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Venezuela and Brazil under a long-term business relationship.
