Analog Devices Demos Wicentric's Bluetooth Solutions at electronica 2012


Nov 16, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Wicentric, Inc., a provider of Bluetooth software solutions, announced Analog Devices is using Wicentric's exactLE Stack and Profiles, a protocol stack and profile solution for Bluetooth Smart devices, in a vital signs monitoring demonstration at electronica 2012 in Munich, Germany.



According to a release, the demonstration shows four body-worn Bluetooth low energy sensors connecting simultaneously to an iPad displaying real-time charts of received electrocardiogram (ECG) from the single-lead AD8232 heart rate and cardiac monitoring analog front end (AFE) and motion data from the ultralow power ADXL362 3-axis, MEMS accelerometer.

"Wicentric provided Bluetooth low energy system expertise and a reliable, easy to use software solution that ensured a successful demo." Wicentric's exactLE Stack and Profiles are designed specifically for Bluetooth Smart products such as sports & fitness sensors, mobile phone accessories, and healthcare devices.
