Charter Communications Q3 net loss increases


Nov 12, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Charter Communications Inc, a provider of broadband communications, has reported net loss of $87 million, or $0.87 loss per share, for the third quarter ended September 30, 2012, compared to net loss of $85 million, or $0.79 loss per share, for the same quarter ended September 30, 2011.



Total revenues for the third quarter ended September 30, 2012 were $1.88 billion, compared to $1.81 billion for the same quarter ended September 30, 2011.

Net loss for the nine months ended September 30, 2012 was $264 million, or $2.65 loss per share, compared to net loss of $302 million, or $2.74 loss per share, for the same period ended September 30, 2011.


Total revenues for the nine months ended September 30, 2012 were $5.59 billion, compared to $5.37 billion for the same period ended September 30, 2011.
