Boulder weather: Up to 3 inches of snow possible over the weekend

Today's forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high near 65 and winds between 5 to 7 mph. The overnight low is expected to be near 34.

The forecast Saturday calls most mostly cloudy skies with a high near 44 and winds between 6 to 10 mph and gusts as high as 16 mph. There is a 60 percent chance of rain before 11 a.m. then a mixture of rain and snow throughout the day, with less than one inch of snow accumulation expected.


The overnight low is expected to be near 19, with winds between 6 to 11 mph and gusts as high as 17 mph. There is a 60 percent chance of snow mostly before 11 p.m., with 1 to 3 inches of accumulation possible.

Sunday's forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies and a high near 30, with winds between 5 to 8 mph. There is a 30 percent chance of snow showers before 11 a.m. The overnight low is expected to be near 13.

Sunny skies are expected to return next week, but temperatures should remain in the 40s.
